Renovations

This was an open porch in the front of the house. The porch was closed, had a door installed, and two side windows installed. The benefit of closing the porch was to increasing weather protection and energy efficiency by helping keep heat in.

The two windows where removed and replace with french doors allowing access from the dinning room to the deck. This will allow more ventilation through the dinning room because both doors are operational with full bug screens on the outside. Custom molding was also installed around the doors to give a more personalized look and feel to the room. Installing french doors here allows more natural light to enter the room making this dinning room a more lively place to eat.
